Refund policy
We totally get that sometimes online shopping can be difficult when you can't touch, feel, or try on items in person. We have a simple 20-day return policy, which means you have 20 days after receiving your order to request a return for a refund, exchange or size swap.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@swimsafe.co.nz. Our team will guide you through the returns process and your options to make it as seamless as possible.
Please note the following:
- Swim Safe take no responsibility for returned items that are lost in transit or show up damaged.
- Shipping costs are not eligible for refund unless we are at fault.
- Items returned without contacting us first cannot be processed.
- Any custom made or special order items are not eligible for exchange or refund.
- Return shipping costs are covered by the buyer unless we are at fault.
- All refunds will be refunded back to the original payment method.
- There are no restocking fees for items returned within the 20-day timeframe.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if there are any return issues. Accepted refunds are processed within 3 working days, automatically refunded to your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
